Koyama Honke Shuzo is the largest sake producer in eastern Japan, where traditional techniques and advanced technology converge. The company campus covers an area of 33,000 m2, more than 170 tanks, and buildings with the most modern bottling and blending lines in Japan. With a history of more than 200 years, sake master Matabee Koyamaya started his career in 1808, using pure spring water in Shimoga, Sashiougi Village, Kita-Adachi-gun, Musashi Province (now: Sashiougi, Nishi-ku, Saitama-shi).
